Namibia Kit List

Packing:

  • It would help if graduates travel with soft bags – maximum 15 kg per person (please find the necessary kit list below)
  • You will also need a rucksack on this trip – this is essential. This will act as your ‘day bag’ and double up as your hand luggage when flying. You do not need anything technical. Just something that will hold your essentials for the day. You will have access to this bag at every stop. You will not run or cycle with this – this is purely to carry all of your extras that you may need during the day.
  • Laundry is included on this trip – so do not feel like you need to pack multiples of everything! Last year the laundry was done when we climbed the mountain – so any exercise clothing you wear on days 1 & 2 is put in for laundry on the 3rd morning as we leave camp and is returned the next day. Therefore 2 sets of running and cycling kit are enough – remember to bring something else for the mountain climb.
  • A large rucksack is provided for the mountain climb – pre-packed with sleeping equipment, food and water.
