Hi Kerry,
I can’t believe you’re entering the final day of your challenge. Only a 21km run and 81km cycle to go -
Should be easy enough for an athlete like you! I’m sure the thought of the luxury camp at the end will help you get through the last part of your journey. Juno and I will be cheering you on as you head towards the finish line!
Best of luck and speak to you soon.
Lots of love
Richard & Juno
Sounds like you’ve smashed it Stuart - absolute legend. Enjoy your last day and enjoy your holiday afterwards even more!!!

Aaron!
You only have one more challenge left! One. More. Left!!! It’s crazy to think you’ve made it this far. But when we think about how determined and focused you are, it’s no surprise at all! We are incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see you next month (oh yeah, we’re coming for Father’s Day 😂). You’ve made it so far and are just about at the finish line. Keep grinding but remember to make memories you’ll remember forever.
We love you!
What’s up Donnie, heard you needed some motivation, so figured I’d remind you about the time you lost in a scramble in Caldwell to me, Nick, Jake, and I believe Max. Nothing you’re experiencing now can touch what you felt that day, so dig deep and keep on pushing. Proud of you bud and excited for the physical and mental growth you’re going to take away from this!
It is done! Congratulations group 3 for that massive achievement! You can be proud of yourselves and for sure have made a lot of memories to remember for a lifetime. Big thank you also to the team on the ground - you have done an amazing job to make it all happen three times in a row! Special congrats to Nikola, Alexa, Bram, Christian, Ben, Tim and Filipe.

Blairrrrr,
Day 6 and hopefully by the time you read this you’re done and having a beer by some pool, which I know is your favourite thing to do on these trips (assuming you managed to survive the marathon, your least favourite thing). Now enjoy some chill time and try not to get eaten by any lions or crocodiles.

Adry,

Blair,
I know you said one message was enough, but after climbing up that mountain you must surely have quite a few blisters, and I feel it’s my duty to remind you to wash your hands before you pop them. And stay away from other people’s blisters, for god’s sake.
Hope this message was helpful. I’m 99% sure you’re doing great, so keep going!!

Fellow junkyard dawgs #woofwoofwoof , pond jumpers & friends! What a group!
Congrats! Y’all have made it through day 4, you’ve already braved two days in the sand and made it up and down the Brandberg! A huge feat in itself, be proud, give each other a pat on the back and know you’re almost there. Take it a day at a time and enjoy the remaining miles and views! You all can do it and we are looking forward to your stories! There’s beer waiting for you at the end and it’s (mostly?) downhill from here. However, remember that there are special rules in the desert, what goes down, must go back up! Enjoy the final days and lean on each other! What a trip and what a group! #woofwoofwoof

Stug,
You are an absolute champion and very proud of you pal.
For when the going gets tough, a little excerpt to help:
“I can't see a way through said the boy.
Can you see your next step?
Yes.
Just take that said the horse.”
One foot in front of the other Stug, that's all we can ask.
Lots of Love,

Hola Adry!!
Hi Gary,

Hii Day,
I hope you are okay ... I can imagine it's been a tough couple of days but I bet the reward of self achievement at the end of each day is worth it!
Luke's been to Croxteth park today with your Mum and Liam on his scooter, obviously he got an ice cream. When your Dad picked him up he said 'Mummy's going to work to see Daddy' haha. He's staying in your mums tonight so I will be having a nice Port with my feet up enjoying the peace. Sorry to rub it in.
We miss you so so much, however the house is much quieter and cleaner with you there 😆
We love you Day and I can't say it enough we are so so proud of you.
Keep going babe, see you soon.

Hey Megan,
Look at you being your best self during your 10 out of 10 life experience. Definitely different than our 10 out of 10 McDonald’s adventure with Carson. Lol Day two and shinning (probably with sweat Lol) but mostly with pride and satisfaction of doing your very best. I love you deeply and can’t wait to hear all about this magnificent adventure. You got this! Til tomorrow know we are right there beside you in spirit the whole way. Love, Mom

Hi group 3,
You have just broken in your legs and you are looking at a massive mountain while fending off scorpions and snakes.
Angry baboons and pesky bees are waiting for you up there - be careful.
You will go through this baptism of fire and forge unique relationships. Look out for one another - united we stand, divided we fall!
Tough times never last, only tough people last.
Well done all on your first few days. Good luck, look after each other and enjoy the experience of a lifetime !!

Good evening Aaron
Day 3. God, in the true thick of the trip! Yesterday we are sure was brutal. We bet your whole body is yelling at you saying "Are you crazy!" But you are not. You have been training your body for this time. Keep moving forward one step or pedal at a time. The only failures are the ones that stop trying! We hope your hike brought you great views during the day as well as during the night. We know you are tired BUT TAKE LOTS OF PICS! As you get older you be able to remind your brain you did this lol. Nothing we saw in all the national and state parks we hiked will compare we are sure! Hope you are putting on sunscreen! Always your biggest cheerleaders! YOU ARE KILLING IT AARON! GOOOO AARON! ON THE OTHER SIDE!
Love always
Mom and dad
Donnie, whatever path has led you to this chance to run a marathon through the African wilderness has been the correct one. Super proud and more than a little jealous. Good luck, Godspeed and gig ‘em 👍🏼
Taylor et al
Start of trek and pics look great. Keep up the team effort.
AARON!!
Day 3 in the books!!
Man… YOU DID THE DANG THING! Congrats on making it all the way to the top of the Brandberg!! 🥳 Enjoy the views and soak it all in! I can’t even imagine the physical and mental exhaustion you are feeling (hopefully it hurts so good) lol, but one day closer! I’m sure your legs are probably feeling like spaghetti by now, but hopefully you can get some solid rest tonight for the downhill battle tomorrow! Your perseverance, endurance, and mental toughness is inspiring! You are inspiring! Keep on keeping on! You’re doing great and best of luck tomorrow! Sending prayers and cheering big for you! Stay hydrated and safe out there! ~Kenz & Mia
Let’s get it Donny! Enjoy Africa!
Hi Tim,
the half is done! I am incredibly proud of you! Your diligence, your stamina and all the efforts of the last months have definitely paid off. I am sure you will master the challenge with flying colors! I am really looking forward to our trip afterwards, my bags are as good as packed!
Here are the most important news you asked for: The transfer ban for 1. FC Köln is temporarily suspended, the game Köln vs. Bayern ended 1:2 and Bayern is unfortunately once again German Champion because Dortmund played in a draw. Schalke is relegated and Stuttgart is in the relegation.
I send you a lot of energy for the last two very demanding days!
Love,
Kristina
Meg Pie,

Hi Nikola,
Please let us know if the environment is comfortable enough for you, e.g. are the cocktails and chocolates at the right temperature, the saloons and VIP hotel rooms exquisite enough, the swimming pool nice, etc and if there is not too much sand around ...? 😉 All the best out there in the desert! Dirk and the SP Team

Good Luck Fergus and the rest of the Grangemouth gang, Hope you all have a great time! All the Best
Hi zlaticko :-*
I hope your first full day in Namibia has been full of new impressions, fun and an ‘acceptable’ amount of physical effort. On the home front Sophie, my parents and myself are slowly adjusting to the new situation without mommy present. I am constantly reminded of you, with Sophie being as strong and fearless as her mom. It doesn’t matter how many attempts it takes, when she sets her mind to it, she will pull herself up to a standing position, be it via the couch, the table, the chair or my legs, it doesn’t matter. The occasional fall backwards, irregardless of what might be there, has been a true test for our reflexes, but she is gradually more capable of sitting down slowly herself. Today older cousin Lukas was also present and their interaction was just adorable. Sophie was monitoring every move Lukas made and Lukas was even willing to share his favorite stuffed animal with Sophie, which is apparently a first!
Daddy - that’s me - and Sophie are cheering for you. Take care of yourself and enjoy the experience as much as you can!
Love,
Steven
Megan,
I am so so stinking proud of you. You literally amaze me every day and I know you can do anything you set your mind to.
A fun update to keep you motivated... they are inducing us Tuesday night and we should have your sweet niece or nephew with us by WEDNESDAY. I will document everything I can for you.
Just keep pushing. Love you so much!
Nikol,
it is not easy to accept and face such a challenge, which the challenge of Namibia undoubtedly is. Despite the fact that you only brought your daughter into the world eight months ago, you did not give up and persisted in your goal. Your tireless efforts, perseverance, dedication and determination are an inspiration to us all. We are proud of you. Now just enjoy and fight, our heroine!
Mom and Dad
Hi Group 3!
You made it to Namibia and overcame the preparation and the arrival odyssey – that is already a huge accomplishment!
This crazy journey will go by so quickly, so remember to take it all in: The unique and memorable experiences, the support, the extraordinary landscape, the camp, the laughs, the pain, the suffering… Everything will be worth the trouble!
Special greetings to the grads from Cologne (Christian & Tim) – We expect detailed reports of all the entertaining things that will happen during your adventure ;-)
Hals- und Beinbruch!

David,
Good Luck on your 1st day out there! Soak up every single bit of it and enjoy it even the most toughest parts because they only make you stronger...
Luke keeps asking where has Daddy gone? I have told him for a run and he said 'with Dec, on his bike' Hahaha.
He is missing you so much he keeps knocking on the bathroom door shouting you haha.
I'm going to watch the 1% club so I can look clever and know all the answers when you get back and we catch up ;)
We love you Day. Be safe
Anupriya, Alex, Aaron, Lawrence and Megan…
In under a year I have had the honor to see you all not only transform physically but mentally as well. You have all grown in so many ways as individuals and as a TEAM. Each and every failure and success has to lead you to where you are today. I am so proud of you all. Keep paving the way and inspiring.
Vicky,
As you run and cycle across the Namibian desert, know this: You are a true inspiration! Your indomitable spirit and unwavering determination will guide you through each stride, pedal, and challenge that lies ahead. Embrace the solitude, find beauty in the wilderness, and let it fuel your soul. Remember, your endurance knows no bounds. Push past doubt, celebrate milestones, and inspire others. You have a supportive army cheering you on. So, embrace the journey and let the winds of determination carry you to greatness!
With unwavering support,
Megan- we are so proud of you. You do not come a family long legged runners. I amazed by your strength. You go!
